Tablescaping in Lufkin

Lufkin is roughly eighty-five miles south of Tyler, an hour and a half through the pines. Deep East Texas hosts differently to the I-20 towns — more at home, more at the church hall, more multi-generational — and the tables we set there tend to follow.

A great deal of what we do in Angelina County is tea service and showers: vintage cups and saucers, tiered stands, dessert tables, a room turned over for an afternoon. It travels well and it sets quickly, which matters when the venue is only yours from noon. Travel south is quoted with the event.
